Banana Bread

This is a family favourite, for sure. Super easy, moist, freezable and relatively healthy! I always have a spare loaf in my freezer, ready to pass on to a neighbour, a friend or unexpected visitors!

8 ripe bananas
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
1/2 cup sunflower oil

Combine and liquidize the above ingredients with a handheld blender in a large bowl.

Add:
3 cups whole wheat flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp nutmeg

Stir with a spoon until all ingredients are combined. Pour into 2 greased loaf tins and bake for 55 minutes (or until skewer comes out clean) on 170 deg C.
