A Double Whammy

This week, we celebrated a very special boy in our home. 35 years of life and 8 years of daddyhood. We're so lucky to have him. He's the best.

When I was dating Bryn, his mom gently hinted during a family lunch gathering, that IF we got married, I would have to learn to make his favourite dessert. {He just about crawled under his seat.} It's taken a while to get it right, but this time, I think I cracked it. He LOVED it. And even ate it for breakfast {and lunch, dinner and breakfast the following day}!

We enjoyed a yummy braai in the evening. Compliments to the birthday chef.

Happy Father's Day

These shoes are way too big for us, as you can plainly see. But even when we're grown, they will still be big on us. The reason is quite simple, I'm sure you'll agree. No one can fill these shoes quite like our daddy.

A very Happy Father's Day to our special Brynny Boy Daddy and to our Oompah Daddy and to our Daddy Darling. We love you and think the world of you. Thank you for giving. Thank you for loving. Thank you for being you.

The only thing better than having you for a Dad is our children having you for a Grandpa.
