Dad educates the kids while mom cooks

That's the set up at our house on Sundays while I finish the last minute touches to our big sit down lunch. I love watching Bryn interact with the girls and they of course, love the Daddy time. Some of the science experiments involve a food activity in the kitchen while others call for spades and worms outdoors. I now have quite a good science collection going--string, wool, food colouring, balloons, salt, fishing line, straws, toothpicks....Today's experiment was chimes and included string, a fork and a glass (and lots of laughing too). We even convinced Jason to participate and caught him on camera unawares!
