Holland is invaded every September with hundreds of medium - huge spiders. Luckily, none of the type that like to co-exist in the same living space as us. They make their homes in our garden, between our car and carport frame (and I have to consciously make an effort to walk around the carport to get into the car, or else I walk smack dab into one of their sticky homes), right by the front door etc. The girls have enjoyed spotting the new spiders each morning on our way to the car.
