Life's Little Blessings

There have been so many these past few weeks. Thought I'd mention some of them here:

1. My friend Carrie was an angel last week. She took my grocery list, shopped for me, prepared the most delicious roast chicken dinner for our family and brought it all round in the evening.
2. My friend Fiona drove me around town today, took me grocery shopping AND came to prepare dinner for us at home this afternoon, in between all the other hectic errands she had to run herself. What a star.
3. My friend Amy was so thoughtful and sent Bryn home from church with a scrumptious cottage pie.
4. A kind husband who has gone to Madison's parents' evening at school tonight after a very tiring day at the office.
5. Phonecalls and emails from friends and family.
6. Two wonderful daughters who have been so easy going with the back to school routine.
7. My friend Valerie called to see if there was anything she could pick up at the shops for me, then came round with my favourite bagels and a beautiful flower basket.
8. A visit from my visiting teachers from church. Shawntel brought me some rolos to remind me to keeping things "rolling". So sweet.
9. An amazing house cleaner who goes the extra mile.

Notice a theme anyone? I'm allergic to preparing food! Wish me luck catering for 10 hungry men on Saturday night. Bryn is hosting his assigned MBA get together for September.
