Halloween

For the first time in 8 years, we broke our Wassennaar halloween tradition and went "trickle treating" (according to Madison), in Amstelveen with the International School. We had a blast. Our friend Allison, organized a fabulous route and even ordered perfect weather to go along with it! Following the trunk or treat/trick or treat stops, we stopped in at our other good friends, the Stigters, for an evening of Halloween fun. Lill, the queen of parties, put together a fantastic spread for all to enjoy. By the end of the evening, Sophie had managed to pour an entire glass of sticky juice all over herself, get an even stickier sucker stuck in her hair and downed a good selection of sugary treats. She was buzzing. Our little candy corn witch and American Girl Doll, Julie, were delighted with their loot and spent the afternoon trading, sampling and admiring their stash. And don't you just love the Russian sailor and kitty cat trio's?
