Dutch Book Oral
Yesterday was a big day for Savannah. She woke up with a mixture of excitement and nerves for report back day. I was thinking about her the whole day, wondering when it would be her turn and praying that all would go well. She ran up to me at home time with a huge smile on her face and excitedly gave me the rundown of her successful review. Her teacher complimented her again this morning and told me how wonderfully she did yesterday. Her voice was clear and loud, she was able to answer any questions the class had for her and even said to one little boy, "Boris, ik hoor je niet" (I didn't hear you), when he quietly asked a question about the book. The teacher seemed very impressed that she was able to calmly say that and then tackle the repeated question. I am so grateful for all the practice she's been able to get in preparation for situations like these--primary presentations, talks in primary and our Family Home Evening tradition, 30 seconds. We are very, very proud of our little girl.
