Hermanus

Hermanus is a breathtakingly beautiful place for a little getaway. The views! The sunsets!!! We had such a fabulous weekend with our friends, the Loggenbergs and the Weedens. October's Whale Festival seemed like a good enough excuse to pack up and head off for a bit of fun. And fun is certainly what we had! Between the three families, 11 kidlets trundled behind us. Folk sitting near us at restaurants gave us looks of surprise, despair (because 11 children make a lot of noise and really, keeping them all still and quiet in a restaurant is quite a feat to say the least!), shock. We swam, boated, shopped, whale spotted, ate, braaied, walked, laughed, celebrated and relaxed. Just what the doctor ordered... I took an insane amount of pictures. So hard to decide which ones to choose...so I won't. Just let the pictures tell the story. A big thanks to the Loggenbergs and Weedens for making all the fun possible!
