Beach Evenings
Long, light, evenings is probably Bryn's and my favourite part of the European summer. We keep saying every year, that nothing beats a European summer. It's like having an extra half day added onto the end of a regular one. Although, the lack of sleep does tend to catch up after a while. When the weather's grand, there's no choice but to pack a picnic dinner and head to the beach for a few hours of fun in the sand and sea. Madison seems to be the only daring one in the family, happy to frolick in the North Sea's chilly 'waves'. (Can't really call them waves--they're more like ripples). Sophie LOVES dogs ('gok') and makes a woo woo sound whenever she spots one on the beach, and that's every couple of seconds. She also thinks the sand is more tasty than her mom's veggies. Savannah is our little sporty athlete; running, playing tennis, jumping from stacks of chairs, flinging that frisbee through the air. She's quite amazing.

Lovely evening, I also love the long evenings here, although yours are probably longer by half an hour or so.
Love looking at your blog, you always take such beautiful pictures!
How did you get so skinny, you are looking great.
Luv Nat
