This time, it's France. Our friends, Jim and Katia, celebrate 10 years of marriage this weekend and have invited us to attend their fancy schmancy French festivities. 6 hours there, 6 back, 2 days. And then pack like crazy and get the house ready for our departure on Friday to South Africa. Looking forward to it all, but secretly wish I could close my eyes and wake up in Durban. The planning and sorting out is always hectic. A nice problem to have, mind you.
Going out tonight with my South African buddies for an end of year moms and tots do. Bryn has graciously agreed to babysit. He'll be applying for jobs too. Applications close on Saturday night. Where in the world will we end up?
