Our recent move to Cape Town yanked me out of my comfort zone in a big way, thus tearing me away from all things routine. Blogging certainly was part of that routine, so it took a back seat for a while. Thanks to a sweet friend, Diane, I've been encouraged back! So here I am.
We're settling back into the rhythm of life again and we love what the Cape has to offer...lots of winter rain (big fat rain--pelting down on our tin roof), afternoon sunshine, breathtaking sunsets, a fabulous school for our girls, friendly and caring teachers, friends who have opened their homes and hearts to us, the most awesome moutain views from our living room, opportunity, a chance to serve, a time to slow down and appreciate the now, petrol pump attendants and car guards, domestic help, family much much closer, and good ol woolworths. We love it here.
*Savannah started grade 4
*Madison started grade 1
*Sophie goes to Mum and Me and Wriggle and Rhyme mornings with Mum
*Savannah is a hockey star (she loves cross country and drama too)
*Madison loves dance and gymnastics, as well as netball and arts and crafts
*Sophie has joined the swimming club and is the cutest little fish ever
*Savannah finally gets her own bedroom and has decided afterall, that inviting her sister for sleepovers (every night) isn't such a bad idea afterall
*Madison has been counting the days to her 7th birthday for about 333 days. 32 days to go!
*Sophie is excited to see her little cousin "Parter" in 3 weeks. We try to get her to say "Carter" or "Carti", but all she offers is a "Parter" or a "Parti". Like father like daughter :)
