Halt!

That's what happened to all parental responsibilities in the Harries home this afternoon. The weather was perfect, we organized babysitters and off we went to waste some time together without the babas. It was WONDERFUL! We thoroughly enjoyed a seafood lunch on the beach, walked hand in hand, chatted and even managed to squeeze in a movie. Why do we put off wasting time together? Life becomes so busy, I guess. It's something we're going to make more time for, as it does the whole family a world of good. We enjoyed family time tonight and were treated to Bryn's delicious healthy popsicles he made for the girls yesterday. Yum.

Thanks for a perfect afternoon, B. xx

On a different note, we're wrapping up the school year with a bang, as usual. Lots of parties, baking, picnics and farewells, graduations and an overdose of birthday celebrations. Reports have been sent home and school's becoming more relaxed and low key. The children are excited about next year's teachers and classmates. I'm eagerly awaiting the break from routine and strict bed time. Savannah's class is picnic-ing tomorrow, so she requested we bake her favourite treat, cinnamon muffins. So that's what the girls and I did this evening.

Right, time for bed. Big Body Attack release tomorrow.
